Breath Life and Life Breaths Back

When you feel that you are not able to breath properly you take some break and go in the open. You take deep breaths and try to fill your lungs with as much fresh air as you can and breath out slowly. If you didn’t do this ever, I recommend you try breathing in fresh air in the greenery or in open whenever you feel dizzy or drained out. Most of the time people tend to have tea, coffee, smoke or other things to calm their mind out from the load of work or life, but one the most simplest and easily accessible solution in everyone’s reach is breath in fresh air in the open.

Likewise there are situations in life when you feel you are stuck in it from all sides and there is no coming out of it. It’s like a bog you are sinking in. It may be something on the personal level or professional. Sometimes it has got to do with emotional or financial stuff. There is not more simple solution to complexities of life related love, relationships, responsibilities, job, finance, economics, politics and so on. But there is one thing that is in your hands and your thoughts can help you shape them.

Just like you go in the open space to get fresh air, you need to breath in fresh air about the circumstance you are in. You need to take a break from all the chaos and the vibes. Take away all the inputs you get from life and sit silently for sometime. Listen to your self. In the core of yourself you would know what you want and try to think about it. Do not bring in any thoughts from the world. You must have your own fresh thoughts and once you are sure about it, go pursue it.

It might seem very simple solution to the toughest problems of life, but if you keep trying it, it will soon become your habit and life will become cooler than ever like breathing in lung full of fresh Air.

Life is just one of those infinite possibilities

Every possibility can happen and you cannot know of what led to an event unless that event happens. So you always track back but can’t never predict ahead !

You keep thinking about what is going to come in future and worry about something that is going to be the way you don’t like or want. Then you try to make an effort to change the course of journey. You twist and turn. You pull the rudder and hit it hard. You travel in a different direction and you reach to the shore. You stand at the shore wondering where you are and if this is where you wanted to be in the first place. You look back to the point where you didn’t wanted to be and the sky appears brighter than ever. You can see birds flying and you can sense life there, while where you are standing you can just see silence and darkness. You wonder if you did a mistake by hitting the rudder.

Well if this felt like what you have done most of the time. There is another person lying down in the beds of water, who didn’t try to change the course of the journey and hit hard the bottom at the end of waterfall. There is no more of that person.

Life is just one of those infinite possibilities. You feel as if you can control the future. You feel as if your past made what you are today. You can never be sure of anything, unless something has actually happened. Thinking over stuff is not going to help you, sometimes you have to just accept the way things are, while other times you have to choose to make a difference in your contour. Whatever you do, you will end up in a place you deserve to be. So be happy about it and make the best of this little life.

Culture is not superstition

Being cultural is not being superstitious.

There might be a lot of things that are superstitious about your culture and the place you come from. You can try to identify those and stop following them. There might be somethings you don’t understand, you may continue to follow them or hold your belief about it, but you shouldn’t shame it. You shouldn’t be shameful about following cultural traditions. Culture is what makes us and not everything is superstitious about culture. If you cannot continue the traditions your ancestors started in your delusion for superstitions, you are absolutely making sure that the knowledge and lessons learnt will be burnt with you and it will never pass on.

You are making a big mistake of losing the resources. We have already come far away from where we have started and they have been continuing so many traditions and events without clear knowledge. They made a mistake of not carrying the complete knowledge as to why it is being done and how it helps us. They were ignorant or may be incapable of being so wise enough to understand that. They just did what came to them as natural. But you are a learned man. You know a thing or two about the world. If you are making a personal decision of not doing something merely on the basis of your thoughts that everything in culture is suspicious and superstitions, then you are as much responsible for the loss as the people who continue repeating the superstitions.

There is a thin line of difference in being superstitious and in being cultural. Understand your culture and treasure it. Don’t get carried away in the desire to be modern and losing your culture. We don’t have to stop following the rich festivals in the advent from demand of work, life and technology. We can be the best of both worlds. We can be modern yet continue to preserve that culture.
